A Fresh Take on the Classic Sweatshirt – With a Sustainable Twist

I’m so excited to share something a little different from my usual work — a brand new collection of reimagined sweatshirts and hoodies. Each piece starts its life as a deadstock or preloved garment that’s been rescued from going to waste and transformed with bold, embroidered slogans.

What inspired this shift? I came across a jaw-dropping statistic recently: “There are enough clothes already in existence to clothe the next six generations.” (A quote often credited to Patrick Grant, designer and judge on BBC’s The Great British Sewing Bee.) That really stopped me in my tracks. If there’s such an overflow of clothing, why create more from scratch?

That’s when the idea hit me — what if I could take plain, forgotten-about jumpers and hoodies, and give them a new lease on life?

So that’s exactly what I did. I’ve sourced garments from bulk wholesalers, charity shops, and platforms like Vinted. Each one is carefully cleaned and then upgraded with unique, embroidered phrases designed to turn heads — and start conversations.

Every piece is one-of-a-kind, and each stitch is part of a bigger story: reducing waste, rethinking fashion, and reviving garments that still have so much to give.
